Here I have tried a head to head comparison between Ak 47 and M 16.
1. When shooting M 16 does not move too much, but Ak 47 almost throws itself while firing.
2. When experts tested both guns at same time, it was confirmed M 16 is much more accurate as compared to Ak 47.
3. Bullet power of Ak 47 is impressive. It's bullet is much more powerful as compared to that of M 16 bullet.
4. Experts believe M 16 is a combat attacking rifle, while Ak 47 is likely to be a machine gun
5. Now it comes to effective range of both of these rifles. Effective range of M 16 is much more as compared to Ak 47. Following is a bit detail of effective range of both of guns.

Ak 47 300 metres (330 yd) full automatic
400 metres (440 yd) semi-automatic
6. Rate of fire of a rifle does matter too much. Here is a bit detail of rate of fire of both of these guns.
